Fantastic location, friendly and home-like atmosphere and helpful staff! The hostel is located right at the bank of Loch Ness so you literally can go down to the rocky “beach” in your pyjamas 🙂 there’s a fireplace at the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, there’s a huge common room with a view over the loch. It’s good to do your groceries in advance as it’s quite far from any shop – ca. 10 miles (or actually anything), but that’s not a problem when you have a car. If you don’t – there’s a bus going to the near-by town and the hostel has self-service breakfast for just 1.50 GBP. The place is everything you need to just sit down on the terrace and look out for the monster 🙂
