I stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent location, right in the heart of the city. 5 minute walk from the train station. On the main road in Edinburgh.
Staff is super friendly. Gave lots of good suggestions and recommendations. Very kind and willing to chat.
Cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Tidy and warm. Spotless showers. Fire to sit by with comfortable couches. Nice kitchen area.
Quite quiet in the evenings, but there are sister hostels that you can go to if you want to be very social!
Sometimes you can hear a live band at night from a nearby pub. But it isn’t very loud and typically doesn’t go very late into the night. However, if you’re a light sleeper, this is something to consider.
