I was staying here for 2 nights. The bathroom and the linen are clean. Staffs are nice. Bathroom and toilet here are... shared between male and female. The hostel is very near the royal miles, many restaurants and shops beside, as well as a supermarket in 5 min walk.read more

Stayed here as a last minite decision on the 1st if Feb It was fine but just little bits like the reception area stank... of stale smoke and the showers weren't that clean. Bed was clean enough but the room smelt of something manky. I probably won't go back again seeing as there's such a choice in the city was just one of the cheapest. Staff were lovely and helpfulread more

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was the best hostel experience ever. Staff was friendly and catered to my needs.
For £12/night, I have nothing to complain about. Clean showers/toilets, lounge room with a ton of entertainment. Located perfectly at the city centre, I will definitely come again.

We had the best stay in Edinburg. The rooms and other areas are clean and pleasant. The hosts have been extremely helpful and polite. Definitely gonna be there whenever we visit Edinburgh

Had a great time in Hight Street Hostel. The location is perfect, the lounge and kitchen are huge. Every bed has a locker to keep your stuff safe, wifi is available everywhere is the hostel, and it’s very cheap. Most important : the staff is very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this place!
