COCKTAILS IN THE CITY

Fancy trying a drink that is different and new? Then this event will definitely interest you. Over 16 different bars from Edinburgh will present new cocktails on the evening that will include Harvey Nichols Forth Floor Bar, Tigerlily and Le Monde. In addition to enjoying bespoke drinks, there will also be tasting rooms to experience what it takes to create that distinguishable drink. The cost of attendance is £12.50 and includes one cocktail. Drinks after that are £6.50 from all the participating bars. Enjoy! You just might be one of the first to enjoy the next trendy “it” drink of the year on this night!

GLASGOW COFFEE FESTIVAL

RIVERSIDE FESTIVAL GLASGOW

Want to experience Scotland’s biggest electronic music festival? Then check out the annual Riverside Festival in Glasgow! Currently, in its 7th year, this electronic music festival takes place at the unique location of the Riverside Museum on the banks of the Clyde River. The festival also marks the beginning of the summer festival season by showcasing iconic international music artists.  It takes place over the Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday May 25th and Sunday 26th. GAELIC CÈILIDH MUSIC FESTIVAL

Two day CÈILIDH festival featuring performances by Scottish Gaelic bands. The heart of this  festival will be a campsite in the Armadale Castle Gardens on the Isle of Skye. This means you can spend a whole weekend dancing to well known Scottish performing acts such as Trail West, Gunna Sound Cèilidh Band and Beinn Lee.  If your interested in attending, you can drive or combine your entry ticket with local transport. The closest departure from Edinburgh will be from Glasgow. A bus will depart on Friday and return on Sunday. But tickets are limited so we recommend booking ahead. EDINBURGH CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL

The Edinburgh craft beer festival features breweries from around the world with a main focus on Scottish beer. With every brewery attending the festival pouring their beers, it is the perfect chance to chat with the people who make them. For those interested in local Scottish craft beers one of the main attendees will be Edinburgh’s Brewdog (guys who brought you Punk IPA). Get to know them more and others like the young and small brewery from Leith called “Pilot that is gaining strong following very quickly. Or discover Black Isle who have been producing organic Scottish beer long before the craft beer market exploded. Overall we highly recommend this unique festival that celebrates the passion of making craft beer. If you are interested an entry ticket to the event covers your chosen session time, access to all the breweries, street food and music acts. You will also receive a free beer tasting glass.
