I stayed here with a friend for three nights at the beginning of January for a hiking weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how lovely this hostel was.
The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was clean and the showers were great. The complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate were a lovely addition too. Even with -5 temperatures outside the hostel was super cosy and warm.
The location is ideal as it’s only a 5 minute walk to Morrisons, and about 10 minutes to the nearest pub/restaurant in town.
And I can’t not mention the staff. Andy was super nice, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable – not only about the mountains but the local area too.
I will definitely be staying here again!
