Glasgow

Glasgow Airport Express service 500 bus service connecting the airport and the city centre in just 15 minutes. Departing up to every 10 minutes from Glasgow Airport (stance 1) and Buchanan Bus Station (stance 46), the Glasgow Airport Express service operates 24/7 around flight times, for £7.50 or £10 open return.

Taxis cost about £22 to £30 to Glasgow Central, taxi can take 4,5,6 or 8 people. There is a rank for Glasgow’s black cabs located at the front of the Terminal.

Edinburgh

Airlink bus runs every 10 minutes (every 30 minutes between 00:00 – 04:00) £4.50, to city centre [Waverley station] for £4.50. takes about 35 mins.
Lothian 35 bus leaves every 12 minutes (from 07:25 – 23:05) and only cost £1.60, though takes twice as long as the Airlink bus, to South Bridge, and Royal Mile.
Tram to city centre runs every 12 minutes, £5 – about 40 mins goes to Princess St. & St Andrew Square
Taxis cost about £16 to £25 to city centre, taxi can take 4,5,6 or 8 people. There is a rank for black cabs and separate rank for silver taxis [which are slightly cheaper]

Inverness

Inverness Airport to Inverness Bus Station (city centre) takes 25 minutes, £4.20 . This “Jet bus” service runs hourly throughout the day.
Taxi costs about £22 to the city centre.

Glasgow-Prestwick

The Ayr train leaves every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday from 06:00 – 00:00, and every 30 minutes from 09:00 – 23:00 on Sundays for £8. The journey time for this train is 50 minutes.
For £4.20 you can catch the bus X77 from Prestwick Airport to Fenwick Glaister Bridge, then after 30 minutes catch the X77 to Warterloo Lane. The X77 leaves every 30 minutes from 06:00 – 23:30.
To get a taxi from Prestwick International would range from £80 – £90 to get to Glasgow Central.
